I agree that on the face of it, it's completely... well, weird. But now that I've had a chance to try it... I kinda like it for certain purposes. It's tough to describe why... I love being able to "flip" through actual document previews... I have one of those side-scrolling mice thingys and it works like a champ for flipping through files. I admit I don't use that mode all the time by any means... but it has its purposes. But yeah... it's a little bit style over substance... but that's Apple ;).
