Well, if you haven’t got it already, it’s probably time to consider getting Windows XP SP2 (that’s “Security” Patch 2[ ]), even though you need at least 1.8 gigabytes (GB) of free space to successfully install it. While you’re waiting for that to download (it’s 75MB), you might want to check out a rather important service pack for the .NET Framework … the only trick to this one is that there’s actually three patches, a 10MB SP3 for the .NET Framework 1.0, and two for version 1.1 this 8MB one is SP1 for the .NET Framework 1.1 on Windows Server 2003, and this 10MB one is “SP1 for the .NET Framework on Windows XP and others”:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=a8f5654f-088e-40b2-bbdb-a83353618b38&DisplayLang=en
